Specialists' white seabass water on Palos Verdes' south side. Pelagics-only by law, a calico here is a citation. REGULATION: only pelagic finfish and white seabass may be taken by spear here, no resident reef fish. Legality: Abalone Cove SMCA: ONLY pelagic finfish + white seabass may be speared, no calico, sheephead, or halibut. Point Vicente no-take SMCA abuts to the west.
