Diving and freediving are non-consumptive and generally allowed; check take rules before spearfishing. CDFW, Crystal Cove State Marine Conservation Area: Rocky reefs and sand across 3.5 sq mi. Common life: garibaldi, senorita, opaleye, spiny lobster, leopard sharks. Recreational hook-and-line, spearfishing, and lobster/urchin take permitted; tidepool harvest prohibited.
