About Tyler Bight (San Miguel Island)

The wild west end of the chain: Tyler Bight's kelp holds the biggest lingcod in Southern California for crews that can get there. Legality: Legal, east of Judith Rock SMR's eastern boundary (120°25.300'W); Harris Point SMR covers the north side and the Point Bennett area is a special closure.
