About Van Damme State Park

An underwater park. Intrinsic difficulty not yet confirmed. Inside Van Damme State Marine Conservation Area (SMCA). Diving and freediving are non-consumptive and generally allowed; check take rules before spearfishing. CDFW, Van Damme State Marine Conservation Area: Rocky reef and kelp forest in a shallow Mendocino cove. Common life: rockfish, bat stars, urchins, abalone, anemones.
